Courtney Costa joined Oxford Management in 2017 as Regional Director of Human Resources for the senior living communities in the state of Wisconsin. Courtney has over 20 years of experience specializing in small to mid-size organizations; providing guidance and leadership to mid-level and senior managers in startup, growth and stable organizations. She has extensive hands-on experience leading HR initiatives including policy design, compensation, performance management, talent acquisition/recruiting, employee relations, compliance, HR workflow development, training and development and benefits administration. She has experience in various industries but has spent a majority of her time working in the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining Oxford, Courtney supported both established organizations and entrepreneurial ventures advising them through their stages of creation, growth, and stabilization. Courtney is most proud of her ability to successfully recruit and build a high performing workforce through teamwork and collaboration.
Courtney earned her Master’s degree in Human Resources & Labor Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, her Bachelor’s degree in Communications & Organizational Management (also from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee), two professional human resources designations (PHR and SHRM-CP), and certification as an ergonomics assessment specialist (CEAS). Courtney is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Central Wisconsin’s SHRM Chapter (CWSHRM).
