With nearly 20 years experience in healthcare, Debbie has spent the past decade specializing in the Senior Care Industry. After serving in numerous roles in Assisted Living and Memory Care Debbie joined Oxford in October 2017 as Regional Director of Operations. With a passion for quality care, Debbie obtained Certification in Assisted Living Nursing, served as Wisconsin State Leader for the American Assisted Living Nurse Association 2014-2016, and supported the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association in writing numerous standard of practice for the WALA Diamond Accreditation Program.
In her tenure, she served as Nursing Services Director, Memory Care Administrator, Nursing and Operations Consultant, and Executive Director within Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities in Wisconsin. Specializing in Senior Care, Debbie has been an active part of the growth, quality and success of the industry. She has overseen the on site operational and nursing development of a 62 unit RCAC, a 20 bed, RCAC to CBRF conversion and a 46 bed, $6 million dollar RCAC and CBRF property expansion. Striving to develop and foster an environment in which residents and staff thrive Debbie’ s area expertise include lease up initiatives, effective marketing campaigns, policy and procedure development, leadership and customer service, employee education and training, resident wellness and fall prevention initiatives, employee and community relations, MCO contracts, and exceeding regulatory requirements.
Passionate about supporting other senior care leaders and caregivers to create a healthy work life balance, Debbie has been a featured KeyNote Speaker presenting to hundreds of Senior Living Professionals. To best serve leaders, she taken a Certified Executive Coaching Course through the International Coaching Federation and served on the Wisconsin ICF BoD.
